So, it’s that time of year when nights are drawing in, mornings are getting darker and everything just feels cosier. Halloween, bonfire night and then Christmas are finally round the corner… you guessed it! My favourite time of year!
Now, as my boyfriend and I live in a flat we thought it was pretty pointless to carve pumpkins as no one would see them, SO instead we decided to buy some halloween decorations to put in our flat so we can appreciate them.
First up. Hands down these two are my favourite new additions to our flat. This candle from home sense smells absolutely incredible and gives me all the autumnal vibes. With notes of pumpkin spice and vanilla its great to have burning on the go as the nights draw in. The pumpkin is also a favourite of mine as it’s glittery and anyone who knows me, knows that I love anything sparkly/ glittery so this was just a given. Together, sat on our coffee table these are perfect and i’m so happy with them!
We also got some ghosty lights from pound land (they had a great selection btw!) and I also love these, they add to the cosy vibes in the evenings and even when they’re not on they still add that ‘spooky’ element to our flat!
We got another little tea light holder (pound land again providing the goods) and this one sits perfectly in our hallway. The electric tea lights may not be as bright as candle lit ones would be but they still flicker and and do the job. Not to mention its super cute!
Who doesn’t love bunting?! I think this one is great to have for parties, or if you just want to decorate you flat like we did, it’s the perfect addition and the perfect colours. Super easy to put together and you can make it whatever length you wish as I had to put the bunting on the string myself and the string was a lot longer than this!
Last but not least. We got some tape, originally my boyfriend wanted to get a toilet sticker with spiders on but I had to tell him no as I am really scared of spiders and it would freak me out too much! So we settled for some tape that we have put on all the doors. These would be great for halloween parties as they came on a roll and you can cut them to whatever size you wish.
I’d love to know what you’re all up too for halloween whether it be parties, trick or treating, or just having a night in watching scary movies with friends and family! Whatever it is you do, I hope you have the best halloween.
Until next time,
