Zoella X Colourpop Collaboration…

This post is something a little different than what I usually do but I love reading these kind of blogs so I thought why not?!

Recently, Zoella launched a collaboration with beauty brand Colourpop, and before now I had never tried their products but I’ve always heard such good things so I thought this would be a great opportunity to try out the brand as I loved the concept of this collaboration- Brunch!

I went over to Colourpop’s website and had a browse of what was in the collection. With a variety of products and shades to choose from I decided on 3 products; the ‘Brunch Date’ colour palette, ultra matte liquid lipstick in the shade Little One and Supernova Shadow in the shade Bellini. When they arrived I was so excited to try them out and I absolutely loved the packaging they came in!Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

I’m a sucker for a liquid eyeshadow as they are so quick and easy, but make it look like you’ve spent longer on your eyes than you really have, so I tried this product out first. I loved the pigmentation and the colour of this shadow and felt it was perfect for both daytime and at night. I actually wore this when I went to Cheltenham Festival last weekend (blog coming soon..) and it stayed on so well all day – I would definitely recommend if you’re someone who doesn’t like spending ages on eye makeup!img_1702.jpg

I paired the look with the matte liquid lipstick. I personally love a matte lipstick, as I find they stay on most, if not all of the day, whereas with a normal lipstick I always find myself having to reapply it. This is such a lovely nude colour and really compliments any makeup look; bold or not.

The last thing I tried out was the eye shadow palette, and I always love creating eye looks (I’m no makeup artist but I find it really fun and relaxing to do). The palette comes with 6 matte shades, all being warm brown and burgundy shades and then theres a bright cobalt blue colour (I’ve not adventured into using this one yet, however I do think it’s a great pop of colour to have in the palette). Then there is 6 shimmery shades, all of which are stunning, pigmented and go great with all of the matte looks that I have tried so far!

After purchasing these items and really liking them I am definitely more inclined to purchase from Colourpop again, and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Until next time,
